Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (December 7 63, Nigeria) was born to a faith-based family and loving parents who were devoted to their children. He is the father of Elder T.E Oyakhilome who was one of the first pioneers of the Assemblies to God Church in Benin City. Angelina and the matriarch Oyakhilome were also his parents. Her divine grace was passed on to her son early.

The LoveWorld ministry is a collaborative effort between the families. Reverend Ken is Ken’s brother and member of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren (KattyWorghiren) is director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry. This organization is home to many gospel artists who are top-selling across the world.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon has chosen to follow her father’s model of sharing the Word of God with the world and is also known as CSO, she is a talented, award-winning gospel singer and member of the LoveWorld Music and Arts family.

After a grant was made to study architecture at Bendel State University (now Ambrose Ali University), he was awarded the BSc degree in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where the Lord called him to serve the Lord and go into ministry.

The Man Of God was an undergraduate student at the time He founded the church that would soon grow into one of the largest worldwide. His prayer group, ‘Youth for Christ’ would eventually become one of the campus’ most popular groups. The group would later to create LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy with millions of followers.

Pastor Chris was the leader of the LoveWorld ministry to become the pioneer of satellite TV and Christian production of television. LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian television station to broadcast from Africa 24/7 a day, on air-free networks. Today, there are LoveWorld television stations on satellite and cable networks across the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presences in Pastor Chris’s native Nigeria and also South Africa, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. The ministry has two Healing Schools that are located in South Africa. These schools are where Pastor Chris organizes sessions during the season which allow miracles to take place.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome created the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation Internet (COFI) as an international non-profit organisation. Its mission is to aid the most vulnerable individuals and communities within certain countries and regions of poverty across the globe.

In addition to preaching the gospel message, the Man Of God has also created NGOs which are charged with providing vital services and hope for those who are the least vulnerable and neglected people. COFI is a partnership with five other organizations who are all dedicated to raising living standards in the most underdeveloped areas.

COFI manages the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children, the Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission. Each of these organisations works to improve the lives of people as well as their health, spirits, and wellbeing.

His charitable organization also provides nutrition for children in need. Pastor Chris believes that solid community foundations are backed by COFI and The InnerCity Mission. This promotes accountability leadership and good governance. The charity also helps to promote sustainable development in Africa as well in other vulnerable areas of the world, in line to the Sustainable Development Goals.
