    Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family and was born on the 7th of December, 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. After his secondary and primary education, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained a BSc in Architecture.

    AAU also awarded the honourary Doctor of Science prize. He is also an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two children.

    Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his ministry journey while still at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship was then known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

    YFC was quickly growing and soon was the largest campus-based organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church’s headquarters are in Lagos. Believer’s LoveWorld, a worldwide ministry with millions upon millions associates across the globe has been renamed Believers LoveWorld.
