Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on December 7 7 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, grew up in a family of faith, supported by his loving and dedicated parents. He is the elder of three sons who was born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome (one of the founding members of the Assemblies for God Church in Benin City) and Angelina. Angelina was the matriarch and imprinted her grace to her son at an early age.

The LoveWorld ministry involves the whole family. Reverend Ken is his brother. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome He is the revered pastor at Christ Embassy’s Houston Texas Church. He is also a member the Christ Embassy Central Executive Council. KattyWorghiren is the director of the LoveWorld Music and Arts Ministry which houses a number of top gospel artists.

Pastor Chris has two daughters: Carissa Sharon and Charlene. Carissa Sharon decided to follow in her father’s footsteps in sharing God’s Word to all people. Also known as CSO (Community Service Organization) She is a gifted gospel singer and is a part of the LoveWorld Music and Arts community.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student at Edo College before winning a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University, known today as Ambrose Ali University, where the student earned an BSc in Architecture. He also received an honorary Doctor of Science award. Additionally, he holds an honorary doctorate in divinity degree from Benson Idahosa University. The Man of God, while still studying at the university, founded what would eventually become one of the most significant church in the world. A small prayer group named Youth for Christ’ was established. It would grow into one of the most well-known institutions at the university. LoveWorld Incorporated would follow millions of people with the founding of Christ Embassy and LoveWorld Incorporated.

Under the direction of Pastor Chris, under Pastor Chris’s direction, the LoveWorld ministry became a pioneer in satellite television and Christian television production and programming. LoveWorldSAT is the first Christian TV station that broadcasts from Africa, 24 hours a day, via free-to-air networks. There are LoveWorld satellite and cable television stations all over the globe.

Christ Embassy has a strong presence in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States. Two Healing Schools are situated in South Africa and Canada. There, Pastor Chris organizes seasonal sessions which allow miracles to be performed.

Music and Gospel Music play an integral element of worship. Chris Oyakhilome Pastor Chris encourages Christ Embassy Churches have a choir trained and supervised by the Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. A lot of the performers have had successful solo careers.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a passionate and generous philanthropist. He founded the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation (COFI) an independent, non-profit organization with the mission to assist the poorest communities and people in the poorest regions and countries around the world.

The Man of God founded NGOs to offer essential services and provide hope to the poor, needy, and forgotten. The five partners of COFI share a common objective: to improve living standards and enhance the standard of living in the least developed regions.

COFI’s umbrella includes the InnerCity Mission ICM (ICM) and the Volunteer Medical Corps VMC (VMC), Trauma Care International Foundation /TCIF, Future Africa Leaders Foundation and the Bible For All Mission. Oyakhilome Each of these organizations works to improve the lives of people as well as their health, spirits and overall wellbeing.

His foundation offers food and shelter to those in need. Pastor Chris believes that solid communities are fostered by COFI and The InnerCity Mission. This encourages accountability and good governance. The charity also helps to promote sustainable development in Africa and other regions of the world, according to the Sustainable Development Goals.
