Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on the 7th of December 1973 in the home of Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. After his primary and second education, he went to Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where the university awarded him an BSc. in Architecture.

AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He is also a recipient of an honorary degree in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was once a married man to Anita Obhodaghe. He and her have two beautiful children.

YFC grew rapidly and was the largest campus-based fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is home to the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld is now a global ministry with thousands of members and associates all around the world.

The foundation acknowledges the work that these young leaders have made by presenting an annual ceremony known as The Next Africa Leaders’ prize. This ceremony takes place on the Eve after each new year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena. Winners are presented with an award by the Reverend Chris Oyakhilome (President of BLW).

The InnerCity Mission to children is a religious-based non-governmental Organisation. The organization was founded in 2005 to assist vulnerable, low-income orphaned kids around the world.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma care International Foundation was created to enhance the quality of life and health in local communities and nations. It also promotes improved emergency response services in case of accidents or emergencies. The foundation will achieve this feat by supporting national policies related to health education and trauma treatment.

The foundation has provided more than 1000 first-aid, safety, emergency response training. Record has it that, they were able to train thousands of students in schools as well as law enforcement officers and teachers, caregivers, and road transport employees.

Volunteer Medical Corps

The Volunteer Medical Corps provides humanitarian assistance to refugees and internally displaced populations in nations that have been damaged or are at risk of being destroyed by natural or human-made catastrophes.
