Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on the 7th of December 7 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a family of faith, surrounded by loving and devoted parents. He is the oldest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome and Angelina Oyakhilome. She was a pioneer of the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City and a matriarch of Oyakhilome families. She handed down her divine grace onto her son from an early age.
