Pastor and faith healer, TV host, author, Chris Oyakhilome who is referred to by his followers as Pastor Chris, is the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also called Christ Embassy, which is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. He has impressed millions of people across the globe with his unique interpretation of the Word of God.

Pastor Chris: The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born December 7th, 1963 in Edo State in Nigeria. Chris Oyakhilome Family He was raised in a faith-filled family with loving, dedicated parents. He is the youngest son of Elder T.E Oyakhilome. Angelina, one of the pioneers at the Assemblies of God Church in Benin City, as well as the matriarch of the Oyakhilome clan. Chris Oyakhilome Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was educated in Edo College. He then received a scholarship to study architecture at Bendel State University. He also holds an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Ambrose Ali University was where he found his calling to serve the Lord and become a minister.

The Man of God was studying at the university, founded what would eventually become one of the most significant churches in the world. A small prayer group known as Youth for Christ’ was created. The LoveWorld ministry, under the leadership of Chris the pastor, Chris has become an early pioneer in satellite television as well as Christian TV programming. LoveWorldSAT became the first Christian television channel to be broadcast 24/7 from Africa through free-to-air networks. In the present, LoveWorld stations can be seen on satellite and cable TV networks around the world.

Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s home country of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. It also operates two Healing School in South Africa, Canada and the US, where Pastor Chris leads seasonal sessions, in which miracles are possible.

In addition to proclaiming the gospel, the Man of God has also created a variety of non-profit organizations with the aim of providing vital services and hope to those who are poor, in need or neglected. COFI is supported by five partners, each of whom is committed to improving living standards in the remotest areas.

COFI manages the InnerCity Mission, ICM for Children as well as the Volunteer Medical Corps and Trauma International Foundation (TCIF), Future Africa Leaders Foundation , and the Bible For All Mission.
